It was so special spending the day with you celebrating your 5th birthday!
You picked chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.
So that's what we made.
I sang Happy Birthday to you and you blew out your candles.
Then you wanted to do it again.
So we did.
You wanted to play domino's with your Princess Domino's over and over.
So we did.
You were such a wee one when you first starting coming to my house each week.
We've spent so much time together you're like one of my own.
And you will forever hold a place in my heart!

Ella is so beautiful and how marvelous to be able to spend so many happy moments with her. I watched our older grandson his first 4 1/2 years and it was such a precious time in our lives. I had a wonderful Aunt Ella once and have always loved the name~

So cute! Happy birthday Ella :) The photos and post remind me of my birthdays when I was a kid - A whole day where I called the shots and got to eat all the stuff I wanted! My mother once made me a chocolate cake in the shape of a house with chocolate fingers as the "logs" outside. I liked it so much I requested it for every single birthday cake right up until I left home at 18, haha :)

Happy Birthday to Ella! What a cutie. I just read about Sue, at Pear Tree Lane and how someone used her photos. How aweful. I am so glad you saw this and told her and all of us. I see what you've done with your photos with printing words, and have thought I should do the same. It's too bad we have badly behaved people looking at our blogs and taking what is not theirs. Thank you for being so thoughtful and considerate. I will now be more cautious as well. Kathi
